Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
